At Underground Drilling & Services, the service we provide is to
understand the need of our clients and assist them in the areas of
providing the best and most up to date technology in Drilling
Services, OH&S and Environmental Management.

The LM75 is capable of drilling vertically:
HQ to 380m
NQ2 to 680m
BQ to 920 m
AQ to 1300m
This is achieved using wireline recovery of the drill core with an standard overshot system or a pump down overshot system depending on the hole dip..
The rigs can also drill up holes with LTK60, LTK48, BQ and AQ using
the conventional coring technique to 250m
UD&S rigs have 1000volt power packs, with one machine having duel
power as in 415volts and 1000volts.
The rigs are set up on a turntable to allow 360 degree access for
quicker turn around when shifting holes.
Subject to mine power supply, we have three options:
We can modify the rigs power source
Supply alternative power supply – Surface diesel gen-set
Use a diesel power pack instead of an electrical power pack.
Option 3 is our preferred method, as it can work in the clients
favor cost wise.
The LM75 is a versatile drilling rig as we can use it in open pits
powered by gen –sets or diesel power packs, as well as underground
applications.
UD&S prefer drilling underground as this is our specialty, but are
open to all options.
